SAPC "10th on the 10th" Event - Patagonia Lake Shore Clean Up (10-10-2009)

The "10th on the 10th" milestone "Decade of Dedication" celebration by SAPC "For the Sake Of The Lake" shore clean up is now history and was a big success just as those from past years.  Thanks to all who have annually lent their time and talents to make it happen again and again with as much enthusiasm as ever.

Many thanks to AZ State Park Superintendent Cole Alfred and all his hard working park rangers and volunteers for their continued support in helping make this day a success and for installing a new placard at the beach area dedicated to SAPC for their 10 years of community service at Lake Patagonia State Park.  The park service also presented the club with two lake worthy gifts which will be used many times over during future lake shore clean-ups.

This was again one of our largest turnouts.  Our appreciation goes out to Royce Davenport who did a great job, as always, in coordinating this special event, designing the artwork  for the special issue club t-shirts and acquiring sponsorship which helped provide our main meal, beverages and prizes.  Our thanks to our sponsors:  The Summit Hut, Trader Joe's, Kalil Bottling Co., The Lake Patagonia Store, Holsum Bread and Rainbow Signs.  And, a special thanks as well to Rick Johnson for trailering down his flotilla of kayaks for folks to use over the years during our lake shore clean ups.
